If you see/or experience a panic attack

  • If it's you, remember that our thoughts are the source of the discomfort, slow them down with meditation, focus on your breathing. Use your five senses.

  • When you get further than you thought you would, you start overcoming the initial incorrect belief and it gives you more control.

  • If it is someone else, be sure to talk to them but keep a distance so they don't feel caged in in any way.

  • Talk slowly and calmly, but firmly, and tell them to look at you and focus on their breathing. Let them know everything will be okay, and that the feelings will pass.
